Born in 1956 in Cartagena, Colombia

His first attempt at painting was made at the age of four, winning children's art competitions on the Atlantic coast of Colombia.

He studied at the School of Fine Arts, and complemented his career with Architecture and a postgraduate degree in Urban Planning. From there he had the opportunity to work in the studio of maestro Alejandro Obregón, where he perfected his style.
Due to his wonderful pieces of art, he has been internationally recognized with two important awards: the New Generation of Universal Art Award in New York -1997, and the Latin American Art Award in Caracas 1997, winning the title of one of the most outstanding artists. . of Latin American art.
