Sistema completo de energia solar medell

  • La energía solar es una energía limpia. De hecho, es considerada una de las energías más limpias. Para producir energía solar no es necesario gastar recursos naturales y tampoco realizar ningún proceso químico o de combustión. No emite prácticamente gases contaminantes a la atmósfera, no contribuye al cambio climático o el efecto invernadero y no tiene el problema del almacenamiento de residuos contaminantes. Además, no produce contaminación acústica, no provoca malos olores ni humos, etc. El funcionamiento de un sistema de energía solar es el siguiente:

  • En principio la forma en la que se captura la luz del sol para convertirla en electricidad se hace a través de paneles solares o fotovoltaicos (Monocristalinos (negro) para climas fríos, policristalinos (azul) para climas calientes) . Estos paneles están formados por grupos de las llamadas células o celdas solares que son las responsables de transformar la energía luminosa (fotones) en energía eléctrica (electrones).

  • Estas células se conectan entre sí como un circuito en serie para así aumentar la tensión de salida de la electricidad, o sea si será de 12 volts o 24. Al mismo tiempo varias redes de circuito paralelo se conectan para aumentar la capacidad de producción eléctrica que podrá proporcionar el panel.

  • Como el tipo corriente eléctrica que proporcionan los paneles solares es corriente continua, muchas veces se usa un inversor y/o convertidor de potencia para transformar la corriente continua en corriente alterna, que es la que utilizamos habitualmente en nuestras casas, trabajos y comercios.

  • La energía eléctrica de los paneles, una vez regulada, va a las baterías para carga solar, que son las que almacenan la electricidad para poder usarla en otro momento.

  • El controlador de carga solar tiene la función proteger a la batería en caso de sobrecarga o descargas profundas lo que afecta al sistema de almacenamiento minimizando su vida útil.  el regulador monitorea constantemente la tensión del banco de baterías cuando la batería se encuentra cargada interrumpe el proceso de carga abriendo el circuito entre los paneles y las baterías, cuando el sistema comienza a ser utilizado y las baterías a descargarse el regulador nuevamente conecta el sistema.
